Automotive Technician

Automotive Technician – SWT Total Car Care & SWT Auto Sales

$23 - $45 per hour, based on experience

Hiring bonus up to $3,000, based on experience and reliability

Join SWT — a family-owned business with over 20 years of success in the automotive industry. We're hiring technicians across both our auto repair shops and our growing auto sales division. Whether you're wrenching on customer vehicles or prepping inventory for sale, you'll enjoy a clean, well-equipped shop, a supportive team, and a schedule that respects your time.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire replacements, and brake servicing
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Conduct safety inspections and provide recommendations
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with all departments
  • Follow established processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Must be insurable with your own tools
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • ASE or manufacturer certifications are desired but not required
  • Auto body experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
