Automotive Technician

***This position is for SWT Auto Sales, a division of SWT Total Car Care in Sioux Falls, SD.***

SWT Auto Sales is growing and looking for an additional Automotive Technician!

As an automotive technician, you’ll be responsible for high-quality repairs and services on all incoming units. Using your mechanical expertise and product knowledge, you will meet the service and repair needs for all vehicles.

If you're a knowledgeable automotive technician who values quality work and enjoys staying productive, this will be the perfect fit! You'll work a five-day week with NO WEEKENDS, plus have the potential for significant earnings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire replacements, and brake servicing.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct safety inspections and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Thoroughly communicate and work closely with all departments.
  • Follow set processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be insurable and have your own tools
  • Diagnostic & Mechanical skills
  • ASE and manufacturer certification are desired, but not necessary.
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Must have a good attitude, attention to detail, professionalism, reliability, punctuality, motivated, basic people skills, problem-solving ability, ability to follow directions, work ethic, ability to use technology.

Auto body experience is a plus, but not required.
